Los incendios son una de las principales amenazas para la conservación de las masas forestales. Su incidencia aumenta debido a cambios en el uso del territorio y a la mayor frecuencia de condiciones meteorológicas adversas. Exploramos nuevos métodos y tecnologías para mejorar la caracterización de los combustibles, el riesgo de incendio y la recuperación de las áreas quemadas. Para ello invertimos en el desarrollo de herramientas innovadoras que ayuden en la planificación de actuaciones tanto de prevención y extinción de incendios como de restauración de las masas forestales afectadas
