AGRESTA FOREST CARBON OFFSET Project

AGRESTA S. COOP. has received a grant within the framework of the call: Grants from the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (resolution of the President of the Institute for Business Competitiveness of May 3, 2018, BOCYL No. 98, May 23, 2018) for the development of the project AGRESTA FOREST CARBON OFFSET-Platform for the digital sale of GHG Emission Offsetting Forest Units. The project was financed for an amount of 98,100.80 € and corresponds to 29% of the expenditure subsidized by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Junta de Castilla y León, through the Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial de Castilla y León (ICE), with the aim of promoting research, technological development and innovation.

The overall objective of the project has been the development and marketing of a digital product for offsetting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that responds to the key needs of two types of currently unconnected actors: forest owners-promoters of reforestation projects seeking funding to carry them out, and companies and citizens looking for tangible and guaranteed projects in which to invest to offset their carbon emissions.

DRONSOMETER Project

An incentive of 25,095.86 € has been received from the Innovation and Development Agency of Andalusia IDEA, of the Regional Government of Andalusia, 80% co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the project “Monitoring of forest reforestation using drones (DRONSOMETER)” with the objective of “Promoting technological development, innovation and quality research”.

EATIC 2019

AGRESTA S. COOP. has received a grant in the framework of the call: Subsidies for high-tech and knowledge-intensive companies in priority areas of the RIS3, for the year 2019, for the development of digital tool for forest inventory calculation and the purchase of technological equipment for forest inventory. Project co-financed by the Government of the Canary Islands and 85% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
